Our second “Element of Sport x The Sorority” event.

Yoga left us totally zen and happy. Thanks for everyone who took part in our event. In case you missed it, here’s a short review by editor Viktoria.

On Saturday we held our second „Elements of Sport x The Sorority“ event. Yoga teacher Lisa (read her interview here) got us into a perfectly relaxed weekend mode. Starting the session by focusing on the breath, Lisa taught us a few breathing exercises – perfect when life get’s stressful. And boy, do I need those! After a few sun salutations and back bends we laid down in „shavasana“ (the final pose of a yoga lesson). Lisa even gave everyone a little massage with lavender oil. Feeling relaxed – almost asleep – this brought me back to life.

Over tea and delicious energy balls (thanks to Lisa and her little son) we had a lovely conversation about the philosophy of yoga, the different yoga stiles and it’s meaning to our society.
